This year, we’re bringing Best Practices back home to Wheaton, Illinois (30 miles west of Chicago). We will be close to completing a $30M capital improvement of our 35-acre campus. You’ll get a chance to see the new facilities, experience our campus planning process, and hear how it aligns with our 2029 Strategic Plan. To account for the unexpected with construction, we will also be using the beautiful campus of Wheaton College,* less than 7 miles away. Registration Open!

Your cohort will become your year-long lifeline to problem solutions and new ideas.

You want to go deeper into subjects, learn about best practices, workshop real issues, leave with tools, and spend more time with colleagues building a network to support you during the year.

As a result, we are excited to announce a new intensive format for 2024. This year we are planning six Best Practice intensives designated into cohorts. Each cohort will be led by a Best Practice faculty. Your faculty will facilitate your cohort through two days of workshops with guest presenters, tools, and practical content. You will workshop real issues, gain tools, and hear how others have managed similar situations! You will form a network!

Intensive Tracks include:

Development, Alumni Relations & Constituent Care
Educational Leadership & Teacher Development
Curriculum Development & Instructional Practice K-8

Go deeper with a facilitated strategy session with just your team.

Again, this year, we are offering an opportunity for schools to have a dedicated space and time for a facilitated strategy and planning session with a leader from the Institute before your team returns to their school. Bring your team and dedicate time to aligning your school’s strategy, priorities, and action steps. There are limited spaces for these strategy sessions so sign up now and reserve a spot for your team.
